Blonde Redhead was fucking amazing. They're one of my favorite bands, but I'd sadly missed each of their rare west coast appearances over the past couple years, so I finally got to see them live at the festival. I was not disappointed. I'm so excited for their new album coming out next year.

i know your pain...i missed them the first 4 or 5 times playing here...each time they decided to play here i was out of town...when i finally got to see them it blew me away.

That's awesome... I didn't know you were a fan! I can burn you the new album if you haven't downloaded it yet. When I saw them play before, he wore an archaic military coat, and later, a translucent neon blue wind-breaker.

Their set was really great! Unfortunately it was on the side stage at the same time as Basement Jaxx, so I think their audience was smaller as a result.

I can't wait for their new album to come out so they can go on tour again... I'd love to see them in a more intimate venue, playing a longer set.

Basement Jaxx was insanely good... maybe the best show I've ever seen, as far as the on-stage spectacle goes. I was too far away to get any good pictures though, and there was so much motion on the stage I had no hope of getting an unblurry shot!
